This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of and supplements the Clamor Terms of Use (the "Terms of Use") and applies to all individuals and organizations who use Clamor. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall govern. By accessing Clamor, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in Service Suspension or termination in accordance with the Terms of Use.
1. Compliance With Social Platform Terms
Clamor retrieves data from social platforms and third-party data providers.
Customers must:
- Comply with all platform terms, developer policies, and display requirements of those platforms (including Meta/Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn).
- Use platform-derived data only as permitted by those terms.
- Not attempt to circumvent API limits, access controls, or authentication requirements.
If platform terms prohibit a particular use, you must not use Clamor for that purpose.
2. Prohibited Use of Clamor
Customers may not use Clamor to:
- Engage in unlawful or harmful activitiesConduct or promote illegal activity.
- Harass, threaten, or harm individuals or groups.
- Engage in surveillance, voter suppression, or manipulation of democratic processes.
- Create or distribute synthetic media (including deepfakes) intended to deceive or harm.
- Generate or disseminate hateful, violent, abusive, or discriminatory content using Clamor or AskClamor.
- Abuse or degrade the service
- Bypass rate limits, workload controls, or automated throttling.
- Send high-volume, automated, or scripted requests intended to degrade Clamor’s performance.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Clamor’s infrastructure without authorization.
- Misuse Clamor’s AI capabilities
- Attempt to reverse engineer, extract, or replicate Clamor’s AI models, prompts, or proprietary insights.
- Use Clamor outputs to train external machine-learning systems except as expressly permitted under the Terms of Use
- Present AI-generated outputs as human-generated fact in contexts where doing so could mislead or cause harm.
- Attempt to re-identify individuals from aggregated, anonymized, or public social-data summaries.
- Misuse social-platform data
- Store, redistribute, or publish data obtained through Clamor in ways prohibited by the originating platform.
- Attempt to access private or non-public information through the service.
- Aggregate platform data into datasets that violate platform redistribution rules.
- Engage in deceptive or fraudulent activity
- Use Clamor to create content intended to deceive audiences about authorship, origin, or factual accuracy.
- Impersonate brands, individuals, or organizations.
3. Responsible Use of AI Outputs
Clamor provides AI-generated insights and summaries. Customers agree that:
- AI outputs must be subject to appropriate human review before use, particularly in business-critical, high-stakes, or public-facing contexts. Appropriate review includes verification of factual accuracy, assessment of potential bias, and evaluation of fitness for the intended purpose.
- AI-generated insights are not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice.
- Users will verify outputs before relying on them in any context where accuracy materially matters.
- Users must not distribute AI outputs in ways that could cause harm, materially mislead, or manipulate individuals or groups.
4. Data Handling Requirements
Customers must:
- Only upload or submit content they have the legal right to use.
- Not submit Personal Information or sensitive personal data (including health, financial, biometric, or minors’ data, or special categories of personal data under applicable law) except as expressly permitted under the Terms of Use.
- Not use Clamor to infer sensitive attributes about individuals unless those attributes are explicitly and voluntarily expressed in the content.
5. Fair Use, Rate Limits & Throttling
To maintain system stability Clamor enforces usage limits and workload controls based on factors such as system health, usage patterns, and overall platform stability. These limits may vary by plan, feature, or use case, and are applied at Clamor’s discretion. Clamor does not guarantee uninterrupted or unlimited access and may adjust, throttle, or restrict usage as needed to maintain service reliability. Continued overuse or misuse may result in suspension of Customer’s access to the platform.
6. Security Requirements
Customers shall maintain the security of their account credentials in accordance with the Terms of Use. Customers may not introduce malware or malicious code into Clamor's environment.
7. Reporting Harmful Outputs or Misuse
Customers should notify Clamor promptly if they encounter:
- Harmful, abusive, or unsafe AI outputs.
- Suspected misuse of the platform or violation of this AUP.
Clamor may investigate and take appropriate action.
8. Enforcement
Clamor may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for violations of this AUP in accordance with the Service Suspension and termination provisions of the Terms of Use, or if required by a social-platform partner.
Clamor may remove or restrict access to any content that violates platform rules, applicable law, or this AUP.
9. Updates
Clamor may update this AUP periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the product or via email.
