This guide provides a comprehensive overview of Clamor, an AI‑powered social intelligence platform, and details how you can use its features to track sentiment, discover trends, benchmark competitors and create polished reports.
Clamor helps brands and agencies understand how their products, campaigns and competitors are discussed across social media. Unlike legacy sentiment tools, Clamor’s AI is trained on modern language patterns, including slang, colloquialisms and cultural cues. It reads context — not just isolated keywords — and analyzes both organic and paid conversations, producing insights you can trust. The platform can detect and flag culturally sensitive topics and language, and it is built for marketers and strategists who want plain‑language insights without needing technical expertise.
Clamor provides near real‑time updates, refreshing sentiment data every few hours, while also supporting up to two years of historical data. It works across major social networks including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, with more platforms being added. Clamor offers multiple plans (Essential, Enhanced and Enterprise) tailored for different organizational needs — from individual brands to agencies managing multiple workspaces.
To start using Clamor, sign up with your work email at the Clamor site. Once you connect your social channels; insights begin to populate within minutes. If you are joining an existing team, ask the workspace owner to invite you.
Clamor offers a free 14‑day trial of the Enhanced plan, allowing you to connect up to 4 social platforms and explore all features without entering payment details. After the trial ends, you can select a paid plan to continue accessing your insights.
Clamor is priced per workspace rather than per user, so your entire team can collaborate without added cost. Key plan features include:
Contact Clamor for full pricing details or to discuss multi‑workspace discounts.
Clamor supports all major social networks, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, with plans to add more over time. During onboarding or via Workspace Settings → Integrations, you can authorize Clamor to access each platform. Clamor only analyzes data you explicitly connect and never publishes or edits content on your behalf. Initial insights usually appear within minutes, though processing may take longer for large accounts or first‑time setups.
If you manage multiple brands, create separate workspaces to keep insights distinct. Enterprise plans allow unlimited workspaces and volume‑based discounts.
Each workspace can include unlimited users. To invite colleagues:
Roles help you manage permissions: Owners can manage billing and workspace settings, Members can create dashboards and reports.
Clamor’s AI goes beyond simple keyword matching. It understands modern language patterns, slang, and context—enabling it to interpret intent behind posts, including sarcasm and nuanced tone. It can also translate content and comments from multiple languages into English, allowing Clamor to interpret global conversations with the same level of accuracy. The result is more reliable sentiment analysis across both organic and paid conversations. Clamor also flags culturally sensitive language, helping you stay aware of potential reputational risks.
Clamor is built to be user‑friendly, so you don’t need data science expertise to interpret sentiment — insights are delivered in plain language with clear recommendations.
For campaign tracking and market research, Clamor’s Enhanced and Enterprise plans provide keyword and trend analysis. You can track specific hashtags or keywords; Clamor surfaces the related content automatically and interprets the conversation. The Real‑Time Performance view shows how results shift day by day, and Optimization Tips suggest how to improve performance. Emerging Trends alert you to topics gaining momentum before they peak.
The Enhanced and Enterprise plans unlock competitive analysis features. Benchmark your brand against up to 3 key competitors — comparing sentiment scores, engagement rates and trending topics. You can configure competitor profiles under Workspace Settings and analyze their data alongside your own.
Clamor aggregates conversation data (paid or organic) across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This unified view enables you to analyze sentiment and trends across all platforms from a single dashboard, identifying platform‑specific variations and combining metrics for a comprehensive picture. Clamor supports analyzing multiple social accounts within each platform, subject to your subscription tier.
Clamor can automatically generate editable slide decks that turns your analyses into professional presentations. You can generate reports in Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint with one click. Templates include campaign overviews and monthly summaries.
Clamor includes a conversational interface called Ask Clamor that allows you to ask questions like “What’s driving positive sentiment this week?” or “Which competitor is trending?” Clamor’s AI synthesizes your historical and real-time data to deliver clear, plain-language insights, similar to the chat endpoint in the API (see section 9.7). Beyond analysis, Ask Clamor helps teams ideate new content based on what has historically resonated, supporting game planning, content calendars, and strategic decision-making. It can also generate suggested visual concepts and images for social posts using Google’s Nano Banana image model, helping translate insights into actionable creative direction without manually digging through metrics.
For Enterprise customers, Clamor offers Custom AI Model Prompting, enabling tailored interpretations of your data. Specialized prompts guide how Clamor’s AI reads your conversations, aligning its analysis with your brand’s voice, priorities and strategic goals. The Clamor team can work with you to engineer personalized backend prompts and ensure insights resonate with your organization.
Clamor’s AI flags potentially offensive or inappropriate language. This helps you proactively address issues that could impact your brand reputation.
Clamor follows industry‑standard security practices to protect your data. It only accesses the social data you explicitly connect and never publishes or edits content. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. When you disconnect a social account, Clamor stops processing new data from that source. We do not store or sell your data to third parties.
Clamor can import and analyze up to two years of historical posts. After you connect your social accounts, initial processing may take some time depending on account size. Once processed, sentiment and keyword updates occur every few hours, providing near real‑time insights.
Each workspace in Clamor is designed for a single brand or product line, keeping insights clean and separate. Essential and Enhanced plans include one workspace; Enterprise plans allow unlimited workspaces. Enterprise users can manage multiple brands in a single account through different workspaces; contact Clamor to discuss scaled pricing and tailored support.
Clamor is built to support heavy usage across your team. If a workspace runs a high volume of analyses or report generations in a short period of time, Clamor may temporarily slow or queue new requests to protect overall system performance and result quality. When this happens, analysis capacity automatically restores on a rolling basis, typically within hours. Spreading larger analyses or report runs over time will help avoid interruptions. In rare cases of sustained heavy usage, short-term limits may be applied but are lifted automatically without action required.
Only Owners can modify billing. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. If you cancel your subscription, your workspace remains active until the end of the current billing period; after that your data is deleted. Essential and Enhanced plans do not offer refunds for unused time, while Enterprise contracts require 60 days’ written notice to cancel or downgrade the plan. Enterprise mid-term cancellations are subject to an early termination fee equal to 25% of the remaining contract value to cover support and infrastructure costs.
You can create reports directly from Clamor’s dashboards. Choose a template (Light or Dark), select which format and click Generate Report. Reports compile narratives, charts and lists, and can be exported to Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint. The report details are pulled based on your current dashboard filter settings.
Clamor’s dashboards support flexible data visualizations, including charts, graphs and detailed sentiment breakdowns. You can customize dashboards by:
Enterprise users can leverage custom prompting to guide how Clamor interprets your data. This includes customized back‑end prompts to align insights with your brand voice and strategic needs.
